I have a degree in biology from the University of La Laguna and I am currently finishing a master's degree in Terrestrial Biodiversity and Island Conservation. Since the beginning of 2023 I work as a research biologist in a section of the BioCan project (funded by the Government of the Canary Islands and Loro Parque Foundation), where we carry out the monitoring, characterization and re-evaluation of 30 species of terrestrial gastropods endemic to the Canary Islands and listed as Critically Endangered by the IUCN. On the other hand, I am part of the Spanish Species Specialist Group. I also collaborate with the Museum of Nature and Archaeology of Tenerife for the maintenance and updating of its collection of terrestrial gastropods
