I am currently a master's student at the University of Cologne, where my research focuses on the ecology and population development of endemic wolf spiders of the genus Hogna in the Madeira Archipelago. This project was developed in cooperation with the University of Lisbon and builds on my earlier investigations of Hogna ingens, which I began during my bachelor's studies.

I am particularly interested in behavioral ecology, population biology, and species conservation. Before returning to university, I worked as a software developer for several years after completing my bachelor's degree in computer science. Today, I use this interdisciplinary experience to combine biological research with data analysis and programming approaches.
