Danni Sherwood

Danniella (Danni) Sherwood is a British arachnologist with more than 15 years’ experience studying spiders, scorpions and their kin, worldwide. Her research group mostly focuses on the taxonomy, biogeography, conservation, and evolution of arachnids in the United Kingdom Overseas Territories. She is currently Senior Conservation Officer and the Principal Investigator of the Supporting Atlantic Territories Invertebrate Conservation DPLUS-funded project at Buglife – the Invertebrate Conservation Trust. Danni holds further academic affiliations with a variety of institutions including: the Arachnology Research Association, Natural History Museum, London, Fundación Ariguanabo, Cuba, and Centro de Investigaciones Biologicas de Honduras, along with numerous editorial board and society leadership positions
