The species has been recorded on Asteriscus intermedius (Asteraceae) in altitudes up to 600 m asl, from February to May and then in September (Hohmann et al. 1993).

There is no information on the habitat preferences of this species, although it can be assumed to occur on Mediterranean-type shrubland.
