Assessment Rationale:

This species is endemic to the island of Tenerife. It is known from the eastern parts of the island, but the distribution area is fragmented. The area of occupancy is 20 km2 and it is known from five locations. However, there are no major threats to this species and approximately half of the known number of sub-populations are under local conservation schemes. It is therefore considered to be Near Threatened (NT), almost meeting criteria B.
