Assessment Rationale:

Although the species has a restricted distribution (five locations), its population trend is believed to be stable and there is no known major threat. It is therefore considered to be Least Concern (LC).

Geographic Range:

This species is endemic to the southeastern parts of the  island of La Gomera. This species is recorded from five locations and eight sites.

Population:

The size and trend within the subpopulations are supposed to be stable.

Habitat and Ecology

This species lives in the dry temperate shrub vegetation (Piso basal), pine forests and even in Fayal-Brezal.

Major Threat(s):

There are no threats to this species known.

Conservation Actions

Small parts of the subpopulations are under local conservation schemes.
