Assessment Rationale:

This species is endemic to the island of Gran Canaria. This species is recorded from seven locations and eight sites, the extent of occurrence is 250 km2, however, the area of occupancy is quite limited to32 km2. The distribution area of the species is severely fragmented. The threats known affect significant parts of the population, and further land-use will result in a serious decline of habitat quality and quantity. This species is assessed as Endangered (EN) under Criterion B.
